Cathal Brugha - Irish Senior Cup Champions!

Huge congratulations to Coach Conor Campfield and his team of Irish Cup superhero's for lifting their second Irish Senior Cup in 5 months, to add to their 2021/22 National League Div 1 title.  Winning the delayed 2021 Irish Senior Cup in December, crowned National League champions in April and winning the 2022 Irish Cup yesterday in Limerick is almost to much for us mere mortals to take on board!

Our Mens team overcame Corrib 10-9 in yesterdays final with a final Johnny Donnelly goal, leaving 20 seconds of anguish to be sufferred by the large crowd of Brugha supporters at University of Limerick pool and also those watching online.  When Hodgy swam the ball out to the side of the pool we all knew that the Cup was ours.....again!

Congratulations also to our young Womens team which went out at the semi Final stage, well done ladies, your time will surely come to again lift that Irish Cup trophy.

Well done Conor and the Lads, let's make it three in a row next year!
